What is COP26 ?
A pivotal moment in the fight against climate change, COP26 is the 26th Annual Summit of the United Nations Climate Change Conference that takes place in Glasgow, UK from 1-12 November 2021.
COP26 aims to accelerate action to tackle the climate crisis through collaboration between governments, businesses and civil society. Read more about the goals here.
WCC at COP26
The Water and Climate Coalition will be at COP 26 creating the space to raise awareness, share experience and provide guidance on how to set and pursue an integrated global water and climate agenda. The related events will bring leaders in the field together to showcase the objective of the coalition and which activities and ways of working together are needed maximize synergies in designing and implementing actions to ensure effective climate action for adaptation and resilience, as well as achieve Sustainable Development Goal 6 and 13.
